The Elufix Indicator PCB column from LCTech has been specially developed for the fast and reliable analysis of non-dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (ndl-PCBs, also known as indicator PCBs). It meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/644 for the determination of ndl-PCBs and offers a powerful solution for laboratories that demand the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
The column is designed for sample quantities containing up to 0.2 g of pure fat. In combination with the method described in our application note, a detection limit of 1.2 ng/g fat can be achieved for the sum of ndl-PCBs – a value that is well below regulatory requirements and at the same time ensures high analytical reliability.
Another advantage: The Elufix column does not require a complex column setup. It is suitable for both manual processing and automated use on the FREESTYLE system, enabling flexible integration into existing workflows.
