Mycotoxins in Spices

For quite a long time now the maximum content of Aflatoxins in spices has been regulated by law. Since July 2010 the EU regulation No. 105/2010 now sets limit values for Ochratoxin A in paprika, chilli, pepper etc.

The German Landeslabor Berlin-Brandenburg has developed a validated method and taken over into daily laboratory routine. The German Magazine (9/2010) has published a paper about this method.
