OtaREAD by LCTech quantitatively detects ochratoxin A - a mycotoxin, harmful even in low concentrations in food and beverages.
The ELISA kit OtaREAD fast is a special variant for the detection of aflatoxin B1 in peanuts and maize. It reduces operation time to less than 25 minutes.
The kits are delievered ready-to-use and very easy to handle. They contain a 96-well ELISA plate (8-well stripes can also be used separately), the standard solutions and all necessary substances. A comprehensive manual guides you through the effective and uncomplicated analysis.
The dectetion range for solid matrices is 2 - 20 ppb,
for beer 0.6 - 6 ppb and for wine 0.8 - 8 ppb.
Even for difficult matrices like coffee or red wine no prior clean-up of the sample extract (like SPE or immunoaffinity columns) is needed.
For the calculation of the end results we have developed a special software. We will be pleased to provide it for free. Please send us a request for it.
The direct comparison of measurements using OtaREAD with results from immunoaffinty columns and HPLC/FLD shows very good consistencies.
